When Belinda, Michelle, Ingrid, and I all began working together on a project for a local non-profit we could not possibly have imagined how fun it would be working together. To share our enthusiasm for the great experiences we had at that non-profit, we proudly began letting people in our community know what they were missing. It is truly wonderful to market for any endeavor that serves to improve people’s lives. It is rare to be able to show up to work every day and love what you are doing. It wasn’t long before the four of us managed to exude our enthusiasm in everything we did, whether having a fundraiser at the best ice cream shop in town or working at a huge community street party, people began wanting to know what it was that made us so happy.
I think the answer is that each of us has come to truly appreciate a combination of experiences and values that we share, such as a positive mindset, the value of mindfulness in all we do, and the realization that through respect and shared goals, we can move mountains.
Well, we may not want to move mountains, but we do want to share our skills and talents to help others make their dreams come true in this amazingly beautiful community in which we are so fortunate to live.
